Iso-Floor for sound insulation
Iso-Floor was designed by physicist and building acoustics expert Großkopf was commissioned by the Fachverband Deutscher Klavierindustrie.
The hard-to-isolate structure-borne sound of pianos and grand pianos is absorbed by this specially crafted material. The dull throbbing of low frequencies, which is perceived as disturbing for neighbors, can thus be minimized to a minimum. As a mat for full surface underlay it also serves as an ideal protection against rising heat in underfloor heating.
